The Fray in Ferndale. March 5 to 7, 2015

The Fray in Ferndale takes place in the quaint Victorian city of Ferndale, located in Homboldt County California. More specifically, it's at Bellotti Hall in the Humboldt County Fairgrounds. 8 – 9am   Individual Competition signup & table vote*

12 Noon – 7pm Individual Competition
7:30 pm – Team car Tech-in

7:30 -8am   Team Rotation Drawing & Drivers meeting
8am -   Team Competition begins
* The table vote is when the participants get to vote on which track will be used for the individual competition.

Changes for 2015

Changes for the 2015 Fray in Ferndale include:

  • Rules Changes:
    • Controller non interference rule.
    • For the Thursday Team IROC Race.  Dash 16 Ohm motors and chassis may be used.  Chassis, motor and parts may be intermixed with original Aurora chassis and parts.  The Friday and Saturday Races will remain Aurora chassis and motors.
    • The minimum plate and pinion gear thickness is now .047.
  • Additional Approved Parts:
  •     Mongrel Racing Body:  Unkomon Ghia
  •     RTHO guide pin # RT-20
  •     9 Finger Bodies  Audi R8 and 2013 VW Bug.
  •     Greg Davis Subaru BR2 JGTC
  •     Balls Out Fray Composite Front End.
  •     For IROC Team race:  Dash Chassis
  •     GOGO Bodies:  Acura NSX-C, 2013 BMW DTM, Lamborghini Sesto Elemento, Samborghini SE, Toyota Corolla Super GT are approved.
